Job description
The (senior) Consultant OSIsoft is responsible for managing multiple assigned projects and tasks, including new system development and integration with existing IT infrastructure. Assigned projects may include needs identification, scope and budget development, timeline, resource procurement, committed cost tracking and regular formal reporting.
Accenture Resources exclusively focuses on the Chemical-, Energy- , Utilities- and Natural Resources industry. You will assist leading companies in this very dynamic industry by improving complex systems and procedures, realizing cost reductions and guide them through mergers and large reorganizations. Due to innovative solutions, amongst others in the area of IT, Sales & Marketing and Outsourcing, clients will improve their performance and their profitability.
Responsibilities
- Identify enterprise IT needs and assist in the development of recommendations;
- Responsible for implementing, coordinating and overseeing all schedules and resources for assigned projects;
- Manage new systems or software package, research and successfully integrate it into existing environment;
- Analyze technology requirements and develop functional specifications;
- Conduct comparative analysis and competitive bidding as necessary. Make recommendations as appropriate;
- Report out via written or oral presentations, on a non-technical basis, recommendations, progress reports, and project wrap up, as required.

Qualifications
- Technical or Engineering Degree;
- Experience implementing OSIsoft PI Software;
- Several years industrial experience in a continuous process environment;
- Experience supporting 3rd party applications.
